My Mission
As I endeaver in this career in sales, it is extremely important that I "look for the Lord's voice" (John 10:4) in what I learn about. I know as a Christian that the only things that work are the ones that God has already integrated into Life. I intend to take what I read, understand it from a Biblical perspective, and execute my job, putting my faith first, not second. My job will be done in the Name of Jesus, not in the name of any other salesperson that I've learned from. This is not using God's Word for profit either (2 Cor. 2:17), because the point is not to take the parts of God's Word that generate income. The point is to subjugate the income, services provided, and every other aspect of our lives, to the will of the Lord, because having money is nothing and not having money is nothing (Ecc. 2:11). Actually, worrying about money is a problem to be worried about. (1 Tim. 6:10, Matt. 6:25-34) The point is, like John the Baptist, to let go of societal norms as a means of life, or lifestyle, and live by faith. God ultimately decides who buys what product and service, how much money I get, and when He's done with it, the job, or me entirely on this Earth. "Whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord" (Romans 14:8).
